Please be advised that there was recently a
SafeAssign issue on October 18th. This problem resulted in slowness in returning SafeAssign reports. While this problem has been resolved and all Originality reports should have been processed at this time, we just wanted to make you all aware of this issue. Following is a message from Blackboard containing additional details:
On October 18th, 2015, Blackboard SafeAssign began experiencing slowness in returning Originality Reports to Blackboard Assignments with SafeAssign enabled. The Blackboard Team was made aware of the issue on October 20th, and on October 21st, implemented a fix to the SafeAssign Central Service to remedy the issue.
As of the writing of this bulletin, nearly all Originality Reports have been processed and returned to end users' Assignment submissions. We expect the SafeAssign service to be performing fully within 4-6 hours of this bulletin being published.
