Meet The Team

Nadine Edwards, Director of eLearning Services
Nadine manages all aspects of eLearning operations, including online quality assurance and technical services. She collaborates with academic leadership to develop and implement teaching and learning strategies to meet the College's strategic goals and improve course quality, design, and delivery.

Jonathan Haynes, Coordinator of eLearning Services
Jonathan plays a pivotal role in overseeing distance learning modalities, coordinating with campus entities to ensure the accuracy and promotion of eLearning offerings. He manages all aspects of online course development and evaluation, ensuring that faculty members receive professional development and support. He collaborates with the Technology, Teaching, and Multimedia Development team and Online Student Support Services Coordinator to ensure smooth Canvas orientation processes for faculty and students. He also manages the eLearning budget and processes financial requests.

Joseph Young, Technical Services Manager
Joseph works closely with the Director of eLearning Services to prioritize and complete related technology projects and provides ongoing support. Joseph also helps troubleshoot and resolve Canvas technical problems for faculty and students and oversees the data transfer process between Colleague and Canvas. He also manages technical staff and researches best practices, solutions and products related to eLearning technologies.
          

Carl Tavares, Coordinator of eLearning Technical Support
Carl supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the eLearning Technical Support Team to ensure high-level technical support for Canvas and other technologies used to deliver on-site and online courses to all faculty, staff, and students. Carl also assists in providing first-level technical support in resolving, tracking, and reporting Canvas and related technology problems.

Eileen Flage, Senior PC Analyst
Eileen provides technical support for Canvas to online and campus-based students and faculty. Some of Eileen's job duties include setting up Canvas courses for online and on-campus courses and providing technical support for faculty, staff and students via telephone, email, in-person and online.

Solomon Gherezgher, PC Analyst
Solomon provides assistance and support with all aspects of the eLearning Services office. He facilitates faculty-facing and student-facing Canvas Overview sessions each semester and resolves issues with educational technologies including but not limited to Canvas, Panopto Videos, and Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor.

Lindsey Barclay, Online Student Support Services Coordinator
Lindsey provides students with resources and tools that support their success in online, remote, and hybrid courses. She works collaboratively with colleagues in eLearning and across the College to manage and promote resources like Brainfuse Online Tutoring, eLearning Smart Start, eLearning Student Surveys, Student Canvas Overview sessions, and more.

Deborah Bowles, Instructional Designer
Deborah supports the college by creating engaging learning activities and supporting faculty in developing course content that facilitates effective teaching. Deborah works with subject matter experts, applies instructional design theories and methods, and utilizes multimedia tools to enhance the learning process. Deborah is a certified Quality Matters and Universal Design for Learning Instructor. She is knowledgeable about Canvas, Panopto, VoiceThread, Hypothesis and more.
